微軟Windows和Windows Live部門主管Steven Sinofsky,此前曾公開表示，Windows 7已經(jīng)進(jìn)入RC階段了，自Windows 7 Beta Build 7000之后的版本都屬于RC分支。而正式版的Windows 7 RC可能要等到5月。

不過，有國(guó)外媒體報(bào)道，微軟將會(huì)于本月底在俄國(guó)市場(chǎng)開展一次小范圍的Windows 7地區(qū)性測(cè)試。上周，微軟官方曾放出Windows 7 RC的TechNet頁(yè)面，包括英語(yǔ)、德語(yǔ)、日語(yǔ)、法語(yǔ)和西班牙語(yǔ)。但并未提及俄國(guó)版本，當(dāng)然，也沒中文版。

據(jù)透露，此測(cè)試版本也屬于Windows 7 的RC分支，將會(huì)通過Microsoft Connect提供給測(cè)試者。至于這個(gè)版本有啥不同，現(xiàn)在也不得而知，反正按照慣例，到時(shí)肯定會(huì)有種子泄露，再耐心等等吧。

Just because Microsoft is reportedly planning mini-beta releases of Windows 7 does not mean that the Redmond company is sidetracking from the original plans for the next iteration of the Windows client. Steven Sinofsky, senior vice president, Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, already confirmed officially that Windows 7 was scheduled to move straight into Release Candidate stage from Beta.
