 每當(dāng)微軟發(fā)布新版Windows時(shí)，用戶都會面臨一次選擇，到底是更新到已經(jīng)發(fā)布的新版Windows呢還是繼續(xù)等待下一次更新呢？而今年，這樣的選擇尤為艱難。

Windows 7已經(jīng)確認(rèn)會在今年晚些時(shí)候發(fā)布了，而看起來這款系統(tǒng)比此前的所有Windows都要更快、更小、更穩(wěn)定。雖然Vista已經(jīng)發(fā)布兩年了，但實(shí)話實(shí)說，喜歡的用戶實(shí)在不多。此外，已經(jīng)八歲的XP依然統(tǒng)治著Windows桌面市場。

那么用戶該怎么辦？接受微軟的建議升級到Vista，為Windows 7做好準(zhǔn)備？再堅(jiān)守XP一會？繼續(xù)比較和觀望這三款系統(tǒng)？

可以說，一場Windows風(fēng)暴正在醞釀中...XP SP2的技術(shù)支持要到2009年4月，所有版本的支持要到2010年6月才會結(jié)束。Vista SP1發(fā)布已經(jīng)一年了，SP2也快了。而Windows 7也會在今年秋季發(fā)布。
而對于企業(yè)而言，一般都會作考慮如下因素：

*出于Bug修復(fù)考慮，不會在SP1發(fā)布前升級
*出于兼容性考慮，不會在SP1發(fā)布前開始測試其軟件
*Windows 7將在今年第四季度發(fā)布
*Windows 7 SP1至少要到2011年上半年才會發(fā)布
也就是說，企業(yè)至少要到2011年某個(gè)時(shí)候才會開始考慮由XP向WIndows 7升級，此外，企業(yè)還需要6-12個(gè)月用來測試軟件，這樣一來，可能要到2013年企業(yè)才會開始部署Windows 7。這也是許多吸煙區(qū)選擇現(xiàn)在就升級到Vista的原因。

那么，2009年，你會選擇哪款系統(tǒng)呢？

Whenever Microsoft releases a new version of Windows, there’s always some period of uncertainty when customers face the choice of moving to the current release or waiting for the new product. This year,  however, that transition period is especially uneasy.

Windows 7 is — by all accounts (except from the Microsoft honchos) — due out later this year and is looking faster, smaller and more stable than any Windows release out there. Windows Vista is here, but not a user favorite (to put it mildly). And eight-year-old Windows XP is still the dominant version of Windows out there.
