 就在Windows 7緊鑼密鼓地開發(fā)時(shí)，微軟的硬件部門也沒閑著。Microsoft Hardware稱當(dāng)10月份Windows 7正式上市時(shí)，微軟會(huì)推出新軟件，針對(duì)包括微軟鼠標(biāo)、鍵盤、LifeCam系列攝像頭、游戲外設(shè)和筆記本附件在內(nèi)全線產(chǎn)品，新軟件將迎合Windows 7中的新任務(wù)欄和Device Stage(硬件管理)功能。

在新軟件中，有個(gè)功能叫Taskbar Favorites(任務(wù)欄收藏夾)，該功能主要適用于微軟鍵盤。此功能會(huì)將Windows 7中任務(wù)欄上的程序自動(dòng)排序，點(diǎn)擊鍵盤上方的對(duì)應(yīng)按鈕即可打開對(duì)應(yīng)程序。同時(shí)，還有一鍵打開Windows Flip功能。

此外，微軟的所有硬件產(chǎn)品都將擁有與實(shí)物相符的圖片，如下圖，Digital Media Keyboard 3000, 光學(xué)鯊3000和LifeCam Show都有自己的圖標(biāo)。

而新軟件的發(fā)布時(shí)間也已經(jīng)確定：

針對(duì)微軟鍵鼠 - 6月26
針對(duì)LifeCam - 7月31
